Elizabeth’s newborn pictures were taken on her one-month birthday in observance of the Asian custom of celebrating a baby’s first full month of life. She chose to stay wide awake and fully participate in her photo session. She is gorgeous with a head full of beautiful hair. Lillie Cay’s dad made a lasting impression on me when he arrived for their ordering session. Lillie’s mom was on her way, and I began to make small talk by asking Stuart what he liked to do for fun. He answered, ” No hobbies – I just love spending time with my family.” He then went on to tell me that when he met his wife Laura, at a party, he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. And I agree with him- she is gorgeous! Wow. What a lovely story, just in time for Valentine’s Day. And now we have Lillie Cay and big sister Candace. Baby Eylon came into the studio dressed like a little man! “Where’s my newborn?” I wondered. He wore jeans and a collared white shirt, and all he needed was a backpack and lunchbox to complete the big boy ensemble. But once we put on the Santa hat and wrapped him up in a cozy red blanket, he was very much the brand new package of newborn sweetness that we live to take pictures of!
